Your Wellbeing Matters!

Participate in the 2022 Community Wellbeing Mini-Survey to have your voice heard and identify where change is needed in Waterloo Region. Wellbeing WR in collaboration with many community collaborators - including local organizations, local governments, and the Canadian Index of Wellbeing - are running this survey to check in on the community after over 2 years into the COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure we are working towards a community where everyone thrives and no one is left behind.

The data from this survey will be used by organizations and local governments in Waterloo Region to ensure their services and support align with what is needed most right now, and collectively work together to eliminate barriers to wellbeing. The survey is based on the 8 domains of wellbeing identified by the Canadian Index of Wellbeing based at the University of Waterloo: community vitality, healthy populations, democratic engagement, the environment, leisure and culture, education, living standards, and time use. Wellbeing WR has worked collaboratively with many local organizations and community members to customize this survey to the specific needs of Waterloo Region. We are collectively striving for this data to be representative of the diverse communities in this region, and that it will be used to have a positive impact.

The survey features important social identity questions that are intended to shed light on wellbeing disparities across populations, and help organizations build programs and services that meet the needs of the communities they support. This information will also help us ensure that we are hearing from many different groups with diverse experiences, and the survey data is representative of Waterloo Region residents. While these questions are optional, your answers are important in understanding where there are still gaps in wellbeing in order to create needed changes to eliminate barriers and inequities.

Participation in this survey is voluntary and confidential, and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. After the survey is complete, you will be directed to enter a draw to win great local prizes! Take the 2022 Community Wellbeing Mini-Survey at https://www.wellbeingwr.ca/minisurvey/.
