Internet Usage Research Study

Mary Hynes, a grad student at the University of Toronto, is surveying how older adults use the Internet for health information and how they would like to learn new information for their health maintenance and improvement. The results from the survey will be used to help create a research study with older adults learning and practicing an individualized goal-setting method for health self-efficacy and self-management.

Mary is especially interested in reaching older adults whose voices are not often heard. She would appreciate participation from anyone over 55 but is particularly interested in hearing from especially those who are Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQ+; have disabilities; or live in rural/remote areas. Consent form and survey here.

For further information contact Mary Hynes at (416) 597-3422 ext. 7775 if you are sharing the Request for Participation or if you need any further information.
